Dr. Drum Beat Maker Software.
Pro Or Cons, For Or Against, You Decide.
Dr Drum is professional beats making software which they have put
together to enable you to create your own music. It is dubbed that
the software allows you to create: Rap beats, Hip Hop sounds, smooth
R&B, Techno Pop, Punk, Rock, Jazz, and Grunge, Dance tunes,
Urban, House and indie tracks.
What are the Bad things about Dr Drum?
Just like every product I’ve reviewed, nothing is perfect and
here I have the flaws I came across after assessing the program:
- First thing, on the sequencer interface they don’t have a clear measurement
separating the segregated columns, on where you place different sounds. - When you want to erase sounds that you’ve dropped into the interface
there’s no undo button. So you could have actually accidentally
erased a drum set that you didn’t mean to erase, which is common
when you haven’t unselected the erase tool from the tools interface. - With most music software, you may not find the perfect sound for a specific
moment/rift. For example although the Dr Drum software has thousands of different
sounds, you’re not always going to find the sound quality that you may get
from hardware or the instrument itself.
And how about the good things with Dr Drum?
- Its ease of access; just by downloading the beat making software you’ll have
access to this platform, saving you traveling time to a studio. - It’s easy to make your own beats as they have provided the user with video
tutorials on how to program and how to achieve your desired sounds. - It contains thousands of professional quality sounds; from different drums, sax,
piano and strings. You can also choose from many different drum styles and edit
them all on the 12-pad kit on the easy to use interface. - Make your own music to recording studio quality 44.1 stereo 16bit PCM .WAV files,
which is the file that professionals save their music too, not the popular MP3 file. - You can even import your own sounds and incorporate them with Dr Drum. If you have
sounds formulated from hardware this is a great way for them to be imported.
Overall what do I think?
- This beat making software allows anyone to use it straight off the cuff, all that
is required is that you have a clear idea of what sound you are looking for as it
will be you creating the beat. There are many music software programs out there
that do exactly what this program claims to do, but you might not find they fit
the price bracket you’re comfortable with. - I wouldn’t say it’s a complete replacement for hardware sounds and
instruments but it’s definitely something you want to incorporate with them.
However you can solely rely on the Dr Drum software as it does provide the user
with thousands of varying sounds and its sufficient enough to be used for DJ
productions , film sound tracks, music productions and whatever platform you
decide to operate from. Which will be played in broadcast quality through the WAV file. - I definitely think you should pick up this Dr Drum as I believe you’ll be able
to achieve your desired sound through this product, - you won’t regret it!
